Matrix Therapy is a gentle manual (hands-on) therapy that corrects musculoskeletal biomechanical connective tissue imbalances in the body. By correcting these imbalances, it will improve your overall well-being and have a positive effect on many health and musculoskeletal conditions. When our bodies sustain an injury due to an impact or strain, it begins a cascade of events during the inflammatory process, including adhesions and limited mobility. Matrix Therapy allows the practitioner to locate the primary restriction, which is often not at the same location as the pain. The indicator and scanner are systematically used to find the primary restrictions. During the scanning process an abnormal electric magnetic field will normalize, resulting in full relaxation of the body. The relaxation of the joints is an indicator that the region scanned is the primary restriction. At the treatment site, each position for treatment is tested to achieve the greatest results of strength and flexibility. The body may have many layers of tension patterns; these are corrected until you are able to reach your optimum healthy state. The majority of patients who undergo this treatment process achieve a higher level of functioning and a lower symptom level, with a relatively short course of treatment.
