Episode 7: The Neck Muscles Patron Content

This patron episode is a 20-minute practice for the neck muscles. We begin setting our body up for good posture by finding the sit bones and where the cranium sits on top of the spine. We nod our head moving through flexion and extension with the focus on rocking on our occipital condyles. We then do some muscle sponging for the trapezius to release tension as we move through neck flexion, extension, side bending and rotation. We do exercises for the SCM (sternocleidomastoid), Scalene muscles and the trachea. Enjoy your relaxed neck and shoulders and notice the improvements in head posture after the practice!
