The Matrix of the body refers to the interconnectedness of all the tissues from the smallest cell to all the fascia and connective tissue throughout the body. The reason we consider this phenomena to patient treatment is that if you have an injury to one region of your body it could have an effect on another part.

Throughout our lifetime we all have encountered small and sometimes larger injuries.  Common injuries are motor vehicle injuries, falling on their butt, concussions … These injuries are compounded throughout our life and over time create strain patterns affecting our function, strength and flexibility. Additionally, these injuries can affect joints, muscles, fascia, organs, blood and lymph vessels, ligaments, nerves and neurological function.  The assessment process is extensive and non invasive, allowing the practitioner to find the primary region of your body that is causing your complain. Applying the Matrix Repatterning technique will make corrections in your body to improve flexibility, strength, balance and function.

Science has show that our body is a network of electrical current. Injury to the body will disrupt the flow of electrical current in the injured region of the body. The Matrix Scanner will temporarily restore the electrical current creating a softening throughout the body. This aids the practitioner to determine the causes of your complaints.  In addition, other objective measures such as postural and structural exam, neurological and reflex testing, joint and lymphatic integrity, tone quality, range of motion, balance and function are evaluated to determine the best treatment plan for you. Following the evaluation the patient will know the areas needing to be treated to improve their function and decrease their symptoms.

The Matrix treatment is performed with the therapist’s hands using a gentle pressure (the amount of 6 quarters).  Electrical current is restored causing a gentle relaxation throughout the body as the fascia softens. When the fascia softens, the body is healthier creating more flexibility and strength. Matrix Repatterning has a positive affect on the patient’s neuromuscular, myofascial, visceral and articular systems of the body.
