The Franklin Method teaches you the fundamentals of healthy movement by harnessing the incredible power of the mind. It focuses on reinforcing proper body alignment and body movements to maximize efficiency, keeping the body youthful, energized, and pain-free. It accomplishes all of this through the use of imagery (e.g., anatomical or metaphorical, and many more) and visualization. Imagery and visualization create a change in the mind-body connection and is used with movement patterns in the form of therapeutic exercise. In other words, they create a change in the brain’s perception of muscular conditions, which will ultimately lead to positive and lasting muscle changes.
